We Support
Maitland City Softball Club Inc. is a not-for-profit local sporting club, for ages 4yrs to 70yrs.
We are based in the Hunter Valley region in particular Maitland and the surrounding suburbs. Our prime objective, in line with NDSA, is to facilitate participation in and the development of the game of Softball.
Our home base and training grounds are at McKeachies Sports Grounds, Redgum Drive, Aberglasslyn.
Junior Teams train on a Wednesday afternoon from 5.30pm - 7.30pm
Senior Teams train on a Thursday afternoon from 5.30pm - 7.30pm.
We have teams in every division starting with our U9s Comets, U13 Blast Off, U13s Invaders, U15s Astros, U15s Martians, U18s Moonbeams, U18s Padawans, 3W Lunar Leopards, 3W Space Monkeys, 2W Mercury, 2W Neptunes, 1W Eclipse, 1W Meteors, 3M Klingons, 2M Vulcans, 2M Jedis & 1M Xmen.
We are proud to hold a level 2 Good Sports Accreditation.
All our coaches are accredited and hold either a level 1, 2 or 3 Softball Australia Accreditation. Junior Development is a major priority for us and we focus on all areas of their development from learning the game of softball, teaching the rules of umpiring and mentoring in life skills.
We are very fortunate to have two major sponsors, Gato and Mars Building, both of whom, have done and still do, a great deal for our club.
